Welcome to Clitheroe Mountaineering Club!

Clitheroe Mountaineering Club is a small but very active group of people sharing a common interest in mountain activities. Mountain walking remains the main interest of most members. However, there are others who also rock climb, snow and ice climb, mountain camp and mountain bike. New members, whatever their level of experience, are always welcomed into the club and are encouraged to play an active part in its affairs. Our main activities are monthly indoor social meets (on a Thursday evening where there is often a guest speaker and always a bar!) and monthly outdoor meets (usually one Sunday per month and one weekend per month).

Upcoming Events:

Welsh camping meet: 27th - 30th August

Next mid-week meet: 2nd September - Abbeystead

Evening meet: 16th September - Prof John Moore on Glaciers & How They Work

Day meet: 19th September - Langdale
